Sewing
Seeds
St Barnabas Sewing Seeds will resume meeting in September. Check back for dates. at 91 Bruce Street-->
The
purpose of Sewing Seeds ministry is to share, in a welcoming
and friendly environment, our joy of sewing with all: ourselves,
our communities and beyond. Amen. If you want to learn
how to sew or quilt, Sewing seeds meets in the kitchen at
91 Bruce Street on Monday afternoons from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
We work on quilts for the Quilts of Valour - Canada initiative:
providing quilts to the returning wounded brave men and
women of our Armed Forces. We are also stitching lap quilts
for local long-term care facilities and several more for
the Children's Aid Society in Simcoe.
Everyone
is welcome as we stitch through the Year. For more information
call Rita at 519-426-4924. If you
want to help make blocks for the quilts you can download
the simple 9-patch directions here.
